Queens University of Charlotte Athletics

Queens University of Charlotte is a member of NCAA Division II and the Carolinas Conference. Queens offers diverse, exciting, intercollegiate athletics competition for men and women, continually seeking to grow and improve our athletic program.

Important Information

• Campers will be grouped by age and ability.
• Day Campers lunch will be provided.
• All Overnight Campers should bring pillows, sheets, a blanket and a towel as well as soap and such.
• The dorms are air conditioned but a fan is always wise.

Check In/Out Overnight Camp

Check In will be from 2–4:00 pm on July 13th in Oven Gymnasium.
Check Out will be at 12 Noon on July 17th.

Check In Day Camp

Check In will be 8:00 am on July 14th in Oven Gymnasium.
Take Advantage of our early check in on the 13th from 3 to 5. Avoid the lines on Monday AM!
Day Camp Check Out is 12 Noon on July 18th.

Directions & Location

Queens University of Charlotte is located in Charlotte, NC.

From I–85 (North) from SC: Off of I–85, take Exit 33 (Billy Graham Parkway). This turns into Woodlawn Road, which you will follow. You will cross South Boulevard and Park Road. Once you cross Park Road (Park Road Shopping Center will be on your left), go to the second traffic signal and turn left onto Selwyn Avenue. We are approximately one mile down Selwyn Avenue. Once you cross Wellesley Avenue the campus will be directly on your left.

From I–85 (South) from Greensboro: Off of I–85 (South), take the I–77 (South) Exit. Off of I–77 (South), take Exit 6A (Woodlawn Road/Queens University of Charlotte Exit). You will cross South Boulevard and Park Road. Once you cross Park Road (Park Road Shopping Center will be on your left), go to the second traffic signal and turn left onto Selwyn Avenue. We are approximately one mile down Selwyn Avenue. Once you cross Wellesley Avenue the campus is directly on your left.

From I–77 (North or South): Off of I–77, take Exit 6A (Woodlawn Road/Queens University of Charlotte exit). You will cross South Boulevard and Park Road. Once you cross Park Road (Park Road Shopping Center will be on your left), go to the second traffic signal and turn left onto Selwyn Avenue. We are approximately one mile down Selwyn Avenue. Once you cross Wellesley Avenue the campus will be directly on your left.

From US 74 (West) from Monroe: Off of US 74 (West), turn left on Sharon Amity (light past the Gold Office Building, which will be on the right). While on Sharon Amity, you will cross Monroe Road, Randolph Road, and then you will come to Providence Road. Turn right on Providence. While on Providence, you will cross Wendover Road. Go to the third traffic signal after Wendover and turn left onto Queens Road. At this intersection there will be two large stone churches on your left. Queens Road turns into Selwyn Avenue at the first traffic signal. Go through the light and the campus will be directly to your right.

Air Travel:The camp is serviced by Charlotte Douglas International Airport. If arriving by plane, round trip transportation will be provided. Campers should plan to arrive at Charlotte between 10:30 am - 1:30 pm (if possible) on Check In day. Departing flights on Check Out day should be made for after 5:00 pm (if possible).
